As mentioned, all past Found web materials are now being changed to Oh Abigail :) I hope that my (abby) posts can inspire you and make your day just that much better.

Future of Found

 To all our faithful friends of FOUND....

Sorry to keep you waiting so long about FOUND'S future! We have been
given a few different alternatives, looked at buildings and have
finally figured something out! Thank you for all of your support and encouragement this summer!

Beginning September one you will see some exciting new changes at
FOUND, both online line and in store!

As of September one, you will be able to find Abby's selection of
clothing and jewelry online at her new website www.shopohabigail.com.

She will also be traveling around to shows with all of her vintage clothing and jewelry in her new "Abster" vintage camper. 

To stay up to date on her whereabouts and the launch of the site, 

visit her blog www.binksandthebadhousewife.com.

The current FOUND page will be changed to focus on the vintage
clothing and jewelry aspect of FOUND as of September one.

Susan will be staying in the current found building providing you with
vintage home, furniture and custom design.

To continue to stay updated on FOUND, the store and all of Susan's

custom work, and vintage furniture and home finds, please like the new

Find the New Found!

Well, hopefully not the 3rd description down. But the rest is unfortunately our current state of affairs here at Found. After 4 years in our building on 8th we have been notified that our cool little building is being slated for demolition as part of a bigger real estate development plan. We have until the end of the summer (Sept.1) to find a new home for FOUND.         As of yet we have no idea where we are going to relocate so we thought maybe it would be a good idea to see if any of our FOUND followers have any suggestions! Maybe you know of a perfect spot or know a guy that knows a guy that has a perfect spot? Or even just would be willing to suggest an area we haven't considered. We are open to any or all ideas and would love to hear your thoughts..      And we appreciate your opinion so much that we are happy to be offering a $500.00 gift certificate if someone refers us to a place the eventually becomes our new home..    So please post any ideas, thoughts, random comments about where you would like to see FOUND put down new roots and in the meantime we look forward to a busy summer here at our current location.!                                                           Abby and Susan

there is a family of 8, yes 8 children in bryon center, michigan who raise goats, make soap and make candles.

there is a woman who has 8 children in byron center, michigan who raises goats, makes soap and makes candles and home schools 8 children!

i met kathy a few weeks ago and bought one of her candles at a sale and became instantly obsessed with them!

pretty convinced that you all would become obsessed too i talked to her about selling me some to make available to you at found. and she did!

i even got an extra special surprise when i went to pick them up this morning!

they had triplet baby goats last night! just 4 hours old when i got there! they were wearing sweaters! i mean come onnnnnn how cute is that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

anyway, i'm so happy to be able to give a local artist a place to sell her candles and i know that you will love them just as much as me. they are $19 and come in a variety of scents.

black friday....

i would not be honest with you if i said i wasn't going to go out...to at least one or two places.

but my black friday stops are not the normal electronic hustle and bustle (although i totally get that).

i usually tend to check out places like jbandme and other local boutiques because they have some serious sales. although my friend laura isn't letting any information leak to me!

here at found we will be celebrating at 10am normal store hours.

30% because we might be out there in the masses ourselves and 70% because we love turkey and might be in a turkey coma until at least 9:30 hahaha.

come and join us after the morning madness at 10am for 20% off the entire store all day (until 5:30) and we will have beverages and treats for you all morning long!

Helping Hand!

On November 9, Downtown Holland merchants are asking you to “shop for a cause.” As the need continues to grow on the East Coast because of devastation from Hurricane Sandy, many of the local merchants will be donating 10% of that day’s sales or promoting donation jars to give to the Red Cross.

Participating stores will be marked by red balloons. Whether you are getting a head start on your Christmas shopping or picking up a small item “just because,” you can come support “Our Hands Reaching East” by shopping at your local downtown merchants on Friday.
