mag time

after a long weekend ( i was on a youth retreat, i'm a youth group leader this year) i decided it was time for a little r & r last night. i went to barnes and noble and grabbed a few of my favorite magazines. they are so inspirational and have fabulous ideas!

i thought i might share a few of my favs.

my newest favorite is flea market style. it shows awesome ideas on how to use common things you find at flea markets. (silverware, serving utensils, farm materials). it has great ideas for re using all those vintage finds!

if you are into a more french country look than you need to check out House Beautiful. It's less "junking" finds and more of a mix of old and vintage.

Fresh Homes used to be one of my favorites. they have got a little too cutesy crafty lately for my taste however maybe they will redeem themselves with the fall issue.

and finally my absolute fav (rip) Domino Magazine. Unfortunately they quit printing it back in 2009 but it is still very inspirational and surprisingly current. You can find back issues on ebay or luckily (and strangely enough) you can find every issue electronically on brides.com.
