seasonal change

the temperature falls, the leaves start to change, a brisk wind blows in and the excitement of fall is here. this is my absolute favorite time of year and in my opinion, is the best time to live in michigan. we have so much to offer here. color tours, apple cider....Cranes....yummy....fall farmers market ( i love me some squash). there is nothing i enjoy more than a chunky knit sweater with a hot cup of apple cider. i am getting giddy just thinking about it!

i'm not sure why i love fall so much. maybe because it relaxes me? during the summer i feel that because it's warm and sunny i have to be busy busy busy and i fill up my days so quickly. but the changing leaves remind me to take it easy. enjoy the beauty of the season because life is too short.

or maybe because i look much better in a sweater and jeans than i do in shorts and a tank top?

i have always been a fan of fall clothes. i used to look forward to back to school shopping like it was a holiday and that just sorta stuck. last night susan and i were busy bees getting both spaces ready for the coming season. we put some new goodies out in the holland location and then completely revamped our grand rapids location.

we were there until 9:30...but still made it to get indian food.

what parts of fall do you look forward to the most? is there a certain season that you are partial too? how to you prepare for the changing seasons?
