allegan is done for the year! we have had such a good time finding treasure to remake and re do for you! we have also made some amazing friends and contacts to keep the treasures flowing throughout the winter season.

in honor to the end of the allegan season i thought i would show you a few treasures i kept for myself this summer. please pardon my messy house.

an affair to remember

no not that kind of affair. a flea market affair!

we have a list of parties that we will be at this week so prepare for a weekend of f - u - n!

on friday night we will be at our space in grand rapids from 6-10:00p.m. celebrating Lost and Found: Treasures of the Old and New's one year anniversary! we will be there from 6-7:30 but the party goes until 10pm.

there will be appetizers, drinks and deals! this is a party you will not want to miss!

Lost and Found is located at 445 Century Ave. Sw, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.

don't stay out too late because we will be at the Everlasting Bloom Fall Flea Market on Saturday October 1 from 9am to 5pm. admission is free so bring your friends. we will have our handmade items, one of a kind vintage pieces and special things you won't find at the store. grab a latte and head on down!

also i have had many many requests for vintage cowboy boots....well i found 'em!

i have 15 new pairs of boots at the holland location ranging in sizes 6-11. they are priced between $54-$74 and they are in great shape!

finally friday

is anyone else breathing a sigh of relief that it is finally friday?

i haven't looked forward to a weekend this month in  a looong time!

saturday morning i'm heading to my secret vintage cowboy boot honey spot to stock up for the fall. size requests? let me know!

i am also going hunting saturday afternoon and then on sunday with my good friend laura. we are finally able to get out together and are going to kick things off with a hearty brunch. again suggestions are appreciated.

we have so much going on at both spaces! here is a short list

FOUND

new arrivals / big contest coming wednesday!

good monday morning! if it is going to rain during the week i'm glad it's on mondays because then i don't feel bad about not being psyched it's a monday. if that makes sense? that and the rain waters my plants for me so i don't have to :)

we have been busy busy busy updating the store in holland and the showroom in grand rapids. i encourage you to check us out at lost and found on september 30 as they celebrate their one year anniversary! there will be deals and discounts galore (and specialty drinks).

i have been welcoming in fall with my home cooking as well. hence my first batch of chili this season

if you are anything like me, you decide to set out on an adventure one day and find a fabulous piece of vintage goodness that just needs a little TLC.

you have great aspirations for it. you take it home clean it up get ready to refinish it...and the phone rings. next thing you know it's 3 months later, the dust has collected on it and your husband has tried to toss it out twice.

it is around that time where i have to have a DTR with that item. DTR: determine the relationship, an expression used in relationships at hope college where its time to talk about continuing the relationship and get serious or...to go your own ways.

if i decide the first...i usually take it to a professional.

hello!

as summer is officially over...well, almost officially over. it's chilly out and i'm drinking hot apple cider soooo according to me..it's over. and i'm happy because i luuuuv fall.

along with the changing of seasons comes talk of the changing of hours. we were thinking about being closed on Mondays and open later on Thursdays (till 8?) what do you think? what are your schedules like?

we are thinking about having an event every other Thursday night as well would that work for you or are there nights that work better or would you like us to stay open on Mondays?

tell us what to do!!!!
