french connection (frenchconnection.com) has always been my go to place for that special holiday party dress. they are always structured, great lines with just the right amount of girliness.
i was so inspired by their "classical decades" promotional email that was sent out yesterday that i had to share some of my favorite vintage inspired looks. *all photos taken from www.frenchconnection.com
i didn't skip the 50's they did? not sure why, i love a good housewife look.
all of these pieces show how to update your REAL vintage piece (found at FOUND of course). i think my favorite look is in the 60's. that red holly colored shift with the textured tights is to die for!
the main complaint i get from non regular vintage shoppers is "how do i wear this without looking like i'm wearing a costume?" for those questions please see above :)
